[what is it] this picnic is aiming to connect a new generation of people who want to create action on protecting our environment for future generations. we will brainstorm a strategy of how to make a difference and next steps for the playpus* protection society.

The idea for this group comes from the various environmental advocacy groups that developed in the 1980's and realising that there are not many physical groups for the next generation to have their voices heard and to make a difference in protecting the environment.

The aim is to bring together people who have varied skills sets who can come together and create a society of people who are soley focused on making a positive difference to the environment.

Everyone is welcome as long as you are respectful of other people - the idea of the group is to bring together the next generation of change makers, who want to see a better future for both us and future generations, to form an ongoing watchdog group to ensure that the environment is being protected.
