Event description

Join PlatypusWatch for a morning walk along Lagoon Creek to learn about the local platypuses.

PlatypusWatch ecologist Dr Tamielle Brunt will discuss their charismatic biology, conservation, importance in freshwater systems, and point out habitat features that sustain them in the area. You'll also learn what you can do to help.

After the walk, join Tam and Friends of Lagoon Creek for a BBQ breakfast and a sit-down presentation about their research monitoring platypuses in the area, with an opportunity to ask questions
