Play On presents: CIRCADIA
Event description
Melbourne’s innovative concert series Play On returns with CIRCADIA, a brand-new work for percussion and electronics by visionary percussive artist Matthias Schack-Arnott. Developed during Schack-Arnott’s recent stint as artist-in-residence with the City of Munich, CIRCADIA shifts between delicate other-worldly evocations and driving rhythmic waves as it moves between light and shadow with mesmerising original lighting design by creative force Amelia Lever-Davidson.
DJ and artist Kavil rounds out the night with a DJ set created in response to CIRCADIA. Expect moving soundscapes and blurry polyrhythms.
This performance was made possible with support from The City of Yarra, Creative Partnerships Australia and Mountain Goat Beer
