'big beautiful female theory' – play reading by Rebecca Lister

big beautiful female theory is a new play by Daylesford playwright Rebecca Lister, with dramaturgy by Ballan writer and artist Eloise Grills. The play is inspired by the Eloise's memoir, 'big beautiful female theory'

bbft' is a feminist exploration, based on Eloise's personal experience, of how fat bodies have been idealised, fetishised and demonised, and the impact of this in a society obsessed with the narrow appearance ideal.

The play reading will be directed by Hallie Shellam and read by Taylor Griffiths, Devon Taylor and Joanne Davis.
