The best way to develop literacy and STEM skills is by learning through play and hands-on experiences. This presentation connects research with practical activities for library programs that can be used in-house or during virtual programs and it includes a simple technique for creating and using developmental tips for parents/caregivers. Even experienced children’s librarians will gain new, fun ideas for programming.

Presented by Children's Librarian Dr. Betsy Diamant-Cohen, creator of the award-winning Mother Goose on the Loose® early literacy program, this engaging webinar was designed for anyone who works with young children: librarians, childcare providers, home daycare owners, early literacy specialists, parents, grandparents, preschool teachers, and anyone who is interested!

Certificate of completion available upon request with successful completion of post-test.

    • Individual: $40 (includes live webinar and recording access for 30 days after the live event)
