Playful Principles Of Drawing

This six-week course is designed to unleash creative potential, exploring the language of mark making, including both intuitive and realism drawing styles.

Held every Wednesday evening from 6 March - 10 April, sessions will cover basic drawing processes using a variety of mediums and techniques to investigate line, tone, and still-life observation.

Tutor Verity Kindlaysides' teaching will also cover recent research by New Zealnad artist Hannah Beehre, recipient of the Parkin Drawing Prize and her exercises for ‘Drawing in Flow’. While the focus will be on a mindfulness-based approach, relaxation and having fun will be encouraged while creating.
