Our Westfield Miranda Playgroup is all about creative and unstructured learning through play, which is essential to children’s development, as it helps them explore and understand their world. Westfield Miranda have partnered with Playgroup NSW to bring customers a new free playgroup activity every week.

International Day of Girls and Women in Science - Week 1
This week the children will channel their inner scientist by experimenting with this fun and interactive Fizzy sensory tray

Cost: FREE! One booking is required for each child attending the session. Suitable for children aged 0-5 years old.

Valentines Day Craft - Week 2

Love is in the air this week as we get ready to celebrate Valentines day!
This week the children will be encouraged to create a beautiful Valentines day cards to be given to the residents of Playgroups ‘Timeless Play’ program at Georges Estate Nursing home!

Pancake day - Week 3

It’s World Pancake Day!
This week at our Pop-Up Playgroup, we will be celebrating by creating some delicious pancake faces using some of our favourite fruits!

World Wildlife Day - Week 4

Get Ready to be WILD as we celebrate World Wildlife Day! This week each child will create their own animal mask to take home

Autumn - Week 5

This week we are welcoming in the new season with a fun Autumn Wreath craft! Allow the children to collage their own Autumn wreath to hang up at home to welcome in the chilly weather

Holi - Week 6

This week we are learning about Holi - which is the Hindu Festival of Colours, Love and Spring. To celebrate Holi, we will be making some beautiful and colourful sand art pictures!

Harmony day - Week 7

This week at Pop up Playgroup we are celebrating Harmony day by making special Harmony day bracelets!
This week children can be encouraged to attend group wearing traditional cultural dress.

Easter - Week 8

This week we are getting creative by making our very own Eater Hats! Once the hats have been complete, run a hat parade with all participants so they can show off their amazing hats.

Fairytales - Week 9

Once Upon a time... This play session we are learning about fairytales! This week at Pop up Playgroup, the children will each make their own personalized magic wand

*Please ensure you arrive on time as the sessions follow a 30 minute lightly structured schedule. Your spot will be forfeited if you do not arrive within the first 5 minutes of the session start time.

Any walk-in's let in will be to the discretion of the Playgroup NSW host.

Hosted by Playgroup NSW, these are FREE session which allows parents, guardians and children to get creative together and join a guided session in our local Westfield.

Our playgroups meet once a week and will consist of 3 x 30min sessions you can book into. Sessions are lightly structured as informal gatherings where babies, toddlers and preschool-aged children along with their parents or carers come together in a relaxed and friendly environment to connect, play and learn.

Playgroup NSW, the peak body representing playgroups across NSW, is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting families and strengthening local communities through playgroups.
