Playing and Making Clown Workshops
Event description
Fresh off presenting their clown piece 'I Am Grease Grillson' at The Comedy Project (USA) and The Blue Room Theatre (Perth), Elise Wilson and Duncan Young are teaming up again to deliver more clown workshops to Boorloo.
Each Sunday workshop will have its own focus:
Finding Your Play - 24th Aug 4-6pm
Audience Connection - 31st Aug 3-6pm (note earlier start time)
Ensemble Performing - 7th Sept 4-6pm
Solo Performing - 14th Sept 4-6pm
Although each workshop will expand on training from previous weeks, you do not have to attend all four of them to participate (ie: you can register for one, two, three or four). However there is a $24 discount if you book all four through the "all four workshops" package.
These workshops are for performers with or without previous clown experience.
Please wear comfortable clothes to move in, and bring a water bottle. If you have any accessibility requirements, please get in touch with the "contact host" button so we can plan the exercises to accommodate your needs.
