Playing with Status

Whether we're aware of it or not, every decision we make about our characters imbues them with status. It's an underpinning factor that drives your character's emotion, relationships, and their development through a scene.

This workshop will bring this hidden force into the forefront of your mind to be harnessed as a powerful tool for character creation and storytelling. We'll explore what it means to be high or low status, how to portray different status, and how a character's change in status can be the impetus for hilarious comedy or thrilling drama.

Workshop places are capped at ten students.
