Secretsundaze has been a defining force in forward-thinking underground house music for over two decades, embodying the spirit and community of London’s club culture. Spanning parties and festivals, a record label, NTS residency, studio and live band project, it has continually evolved while remaining rooted in a deep love for underground music. Now led by producer, DJ and curator James Priestley, Secretsundaze has expanded into an artist project in its own right, bringing together house, breakbeat energy and trance-infused euphoria through Priestley’s productions and celebrated DJ sets. As a tastemaker, the project remains committed to championing emerging artists through its NTS shows, Secretsundaze parties and Multi Multi festival, while connecting new sounds with the rich history of dance music.

Priestley’s journey began as a drum & bass DJ and promoter of underground warehouse parties before becoming a resident at Robert Johnson and performing at institutions including Panorama Bar and Smart Bar. In 2022, Secretsundaze expanded further with the Spirit Of Sundaze Ensemble, a live band reimagining cult dancefloor classics, with performances at Southbank Centre, ICA, Beat Hotel and Kala Festival. This balance between the cutting-edge and the timeless remains at the heart of Secretsundaze, a project that continues to explore new musical territory through parties, productions, radio, live performance and its record label while remaining an enduring pillar of London’s underground music community.
