Playpen is an amalgamation of colours, textures, sounds, and movement that discordantly sit together in the same space. The abstract and absurd notions of the Playpen, children’s toys, and adults interacting with them will be normalised. The characters themselves do not think anything of conducting their regular business within this space, and (hopefully) the audience will adjust so they too begin to see the normality.
