Week One will focus on where you’re at right now, complete and whole and beautiful as you are.

With talking about our bodies, sex, pleasure, and all of the barriers we’re met with when accessing this part of ourselves, we’re bound to feel a little uncomfortable. We want to start by discussing discomfort as an opportunity for growth. Discomfort doesn’t have to be a threat when it exists in a safe, supportive environment. We want to meet discomfort with curiosity and compassion, to tune into the lessons our own discomfort can teach us.

From there, we’ll discuss all things consent; how it can look and sound, but also how it can feel in our bodies. Consent from an embodied perspective, if you will, and how we can each develop our own tools for checking in with our own relationship to consent.

After all this discussion and thinking and feeling, we’ll have a well deserved break, and then we’ll get creative and make some art to honour our sexual selves! Art supplies provided.
