Enjoy a relaxing morning drawing outdoors at Wagga’s Wollundry Lagoon area, just outside the Wagga Art Gallery. Experience working onsite for the first time or if you are already used to working plein air, come and enjoy the atmosphere. Working outdoors allows you to appreciate your surrounding location while using all your senses. Wagga Art Society member Karen Walsh will guide you through this process as she has travelled overseas as well as around Australia with sketchbook in hand recording her travels along the way.
Material Requirements: All drawing materials will be provided along with small backing boards, clips, some paper and stools. If you wish to bring your own sketchbook and drawing/painting mediums, then please feel free. Please bring you own hat, sunscreen and proper footwear for working outdoors.
Note: Please meet in the Gallery at the entrance to WWAS exhibition, Nuanced.
If the weather is unfavourable due to rain, we will draw in the Wagga Gallery.
