Paint from nature at Blithewold’s beautiful summer gardens! Location painting better enables you to capture what you might miss using photo references.
The class is for those with some experience, so bring the supplies you have. Materials not included, but a suggested supply list will also be emailed.
Additional suggested supplies:
A folding chair. Benches are nearby if you prefer.
A table that's a comfortable height or an easel.
Sunscreen and or a hat.
Full bottle of water for hydration as well as for painting. There is a station to refill water at the Visitor's Center and in the Manor bathrooms.
Insect repellent, as some areas get buggy.
Mary Ellen is a signature artist of the RI Watercolor Society and has been teaching for many years.
