Plenty Valley Village - St John's Ambulance Caring For Kids
We welcome our first Plenty Valley Village event with St John's Ambulance hosting a FREE 2 hour Caring For Kids session (valued at $120.00).
Key topics covered in the training session include:
• Knowledge and skills to recognise and manage asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies including the use of the asthma inhaler and the adrenaline auto-injector. specifically for carers of babies and small children and teaches you how to provide first aid in a range of common childhood first aid emergencies.
• Resuscitation of an infant or child, choking, poisoning and acute illness, and burns.
• Basic First Aid & more!
Please note this is a free session available to the first 15 participants!
When: Friday 11 August from 9:30AM - 11:30AM. Please arrive 10 minutes early.
Where: The Y Westfield Plenty Valley. Access via YMCA centre lift in the external dining precinct.
Cost: $20 deposit required and will be refunded at the completion of the session.
Please note: Due to the nature of the topics and training covered, this is open for adults only and we cannot accommodate for children.
