Pocket hugs are little shapes or animals made by needle felting which can fit into your little ones pocket and can be taken with them for a comfort during the day.
In this beginner needle felting workshop, you will learn how to make a pocket hug (shape or animal) using core wool, felting needle and shape cutter. There will also be wool felt pieces to cut and embellishments to add to your pocket hug. If you are more advanced in needle felting you can take on a more advanced animal shape and be guided through this process.
The wool is a natural fibre and nice for little hands to hold and play with if anxious - later you can add essential oils to your wool piece for greater comfort for your little one.
Workshop Size: 8
This event is for adult crafters, however if you need to bring your little one you are welcome just let me know on booking. please note felting needles are not suitable for little hands. There will be space and play equipment for your child to use, however supervision is the responsibility of the parent/caregiver.
