Pocket Poets - Years K-2
Event description
There’s something sublime about performing a rhyme. From mountains to climb, to pools filled with slime! Let your rhythm and rhymes run wild as we take on the world of poetry. Students will work with an ATYP teaching artist to explore this powerful tool of storytelling. They’ll play with rhythm, put their imaginations into words and will even write and perform a brand-new poem. So come down and play these school holidays… see what we did there?
