Words from the Soul: Spirituality through Poetry

Join Slam Poet and Author, Manveen Kohli, for a two-hour workshop integrating spirituality and poetry. This experiential workshop will guide you through mindfulness exercises, writing prompts, and comprehensive feedback. Poetry is more than just words; it is a multifaceted dimension that extends beyond language. During this workshop, we will unlock messages from the universe, share our stories, and explore the true essence of poetry: authenticity. We will examine a range of writing techniques that shape our poetry on the page as well as the stage,

Location

The event will be hosted at Rabble Books and Games, Maylands. The bookstore is located a block from the accessible Maylands train station. There are ACROD parking bays in the carpark by Liquor Barons across the street (private carpark) and behind the Australia Post (off Greenslade Lane). Other parking is available on Eighth Avenue, the private carpark next to Liquor Barons, or behind the Australia Post. Rabble has a ramp at the front entrance, the narrowest part (the bottom 5cms of the entryway) is 79cm wide and navigating the shop, the narrowest spaces are at least that wide.
