Ghosts of the Wheatbelt

This event will feature the reading of a series of poems against the backdrop of the Drylands exhibition. The poems have been written in response to Ghosts of the Wheatbelt, a ghostly art installation featuring knitted wire trees by contemporary WA artist Tania Spencer.

To be read by: Maria Bonar, Kay Brand, William Reid, Michael Stevens, Mardi May, Rose van Sion, Shey Marque, Virginia O'Keefe.

This installation has inspired the publication of a book of poems by Tania Spencer and the Poets @ The Katherine Susannah Prichard Writers' Centre. This book will be available at the event.
