Poetry Submit-a-Thon
Presented by Uplift Poetry and swim meet lit mag.
Are you finding it difficult to meet poetry submissions deadlines? Have you written some poems but don’t know who you should send them to?
Come along to our Poetry Submit-a-Thon to carve out some time to submit your poetry. BYO laptop, notebook or anything else you think you’ll need. We'll show you how to go through a final check of your submissions, including writing cover letters, bios, and proofreading. We’ll also supply you with a list of magazines, journals and websites to submit to, and introduce you to a submissions search engine to help you discover even more opportunities.
Join us:
In person – 16 June from 3-5pm in the Community Meeting Room at Brisbane Square Library.
Online – 16 June from 3-5pm AEST via Zoom. (Once you've booked a ticket, you'll receive your Zoom link a day before the workshop.)
