Come and hear one of the Effective Living Centre's most active and admired members present poems from his collection I Wonder.

Norman Habel is originally from a farm in Yulecart, Victoria. He became a professor at a Seminary in St Louis where he was accused of heresy. On returning to Australia he taught religion studies, wrote many books, including popular works with Pro Hart. He also enjoyed being head of an international school in India. More recently he has been working with First Nations Australia trying to de-colonise the Bible. Yet, behind all the literature there has been an Aussie poet often called Dr Norm(al) Habel. I Wonder is a collection of his poems over 9 decades.
