Event description

Come and enjoy the fun in making your own Māori poi.

This 3hour workshop will teach you how to make a poi, how to use and twirl your poi including a song. Then enjoy a hangi lunch (vegan)

This is open to everyone, everybody is welcomed. 

You will learn a 3 and/or 4 braid strand

Making a Pom Pom end and tying your poi ball at the other end

Learn simple twirls and actions to a poi song

Enjoy a hangi lunch (vegan)
