polaroid transfers

Tuesday, July 1st | 6 PM | Our Lady of the Snows | $5 | Sign-up Required

In this hands-on workshop, students will learn the basics of using a Polaroid camera and explore the unique process of Polaroid image transfers. Participants will take photos with a Polaroid camera, then use a hot water bath to transfer the image onto watercolor paper. This process creates a beautifully weathered, vintage effect that resembles a soft watercolor painting. Ideal for artists, photographers, or anyone curious about alternative photo processes, this class offers a fun, creative way to experiment with analog materials. Students will leave with a one-of-a-kind Polaroid transfer artwork to take home.

She brings years of experience in analog processes and experimental image-making to this Polaroid transfer class.
