Policy Research Projects (PRP) provide an opportunity for LBJ students to apply the knowledge and skills they have accrued at LBJ to a real-world impact project.
Open house presentations for the Policy Research Lab— will feature the research and policy recommendations from four student-led PRPs.
Over a two-semester engagement, student advising teams to have created:
- Set of policy recommendations to Residential Demand Response (RDR) to manage energy use
- Toolkit for building equitable community benefit agreements
- Strategic plan for advancing community-driven public safety
- Resiliency plans for improving community climate and health
Student research teams will present their findings to their clients, LBJ faculty, staff and students, and others.
