This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Businesses are mad keen to help create a more regenerative, inclusive, city.  But we need the right regulations, government support and visions to make that a reality. Let’s see which of the main political parties have what we need.

This Auckland Climate Festival, the B Corp and Sustainable Business Network communities are putting the political parties through their paces on their plans for a more regenerative Auckland, and Aotearoa New Zealand. We want to know what they have to say on low carbon, circular regenerative economies. Should they get your vote? Come along and find out!

Speakers include:

  • Chlöe Swarbrick, MP for Auckland Central, Green Party
  • Rachel Brooking, Labour Party MP
  • Mahesh Muralidhar, Candidate for Auckland Central, National Party
  • Takutai Moana Natasha Kemp, Tāmaki Makaurau Candidate, Te Pati Māori

Agenda:

8:00 - 8:30: Arrivals, breakfast
8:30 -  9:30: Welcome, panel discussion, Q&A
9:30 - 10:00: More breakfast & whanaungatanga

We’ll cover key climate and nature topics such as adaptation, transport, infrastructure, energy, food systems and trade.

Submit your trickiest questions to us prior to the event, or bring them along with you. Now’s your chance to get answers, face to face.
