Navigating Regional Dynamics: Informing Research Amid Emerging Political and Social Challenges

SSEAC’s annual Politics in Action forum features timely analysis of political affairs in six Southeast Asian countries, for an audience of academics, University leaders, students and the general public.

This flagship forum, now in its 10th year, provides deep insights into the current political contexts of the region, offering concise yet comprehensive analysis of key political, social, and economic developments in six Southeast Asian nations. In this year's forum, expect engaging presentations from our country specialists on Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Each session is carefully crafted to be accessible to both general and scholarly audiences, and will be especially relevant to researchers active in Southeast Asia. For each country, we will hold a 20-minute expert presentation followed by an interactive Q&A session.
