Description

Join us on Saturday 14 November for a Pollinator Celebration at the Queens Park Environmental Education Centre, Ipswich.

Explore the fascinating world of pollinators with Urban Bee Education and discover the important role Honey Bees, Native Stingless Bees and Solitary Native Bees play in supporting healthy ecosystems and food production. Get hands-on by creating your own seed ball to help attract pollinators to your garden.

Enjoy a range of family-friendly activities, including face painting from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, and be sure to say hello to Frankie the Flying Fox mascot; who will be making their guest appearance for the first time!

From bees and butterflies to beetles and bats, pollinators are essential to our environment. Come along to learn, create and celebrate these remarkable species.

This is a free walk-in event. Registration is not required; however, booking a free ticket is encouraged so we can gauge attendance and keep you informed of any event updates.

Queens Park Environmental Education Centre has practices in accordance with Child Safe Standards to ensure a safe and inclusive experience for children and young people.
