We are pleased to invite you to the next seminar in our Environmental Science Series.

Join us on Wednesday 29 May 2024 to learn about how we use science to respond to major pollution and emergency events.

During these events, we act as a technical support agency. We provide advice, environmental monitoring and information about environmental impacts and health risks.

Chief Environmental Scientist Professor Mark Patrick Taylor will lead a panel to discuss:

EPA’s role and how we use science during and after emergency events
insights into our monitoring capabilities, training and equipment
how we use data to guide our response
how we collaborate with our emergency management partners.

We’ll livestream the event and end with a Q&A panel session. We encourage you to ask questions.

Register now or visit our website to learn more about our Environmental Science Series.
