Polymer Jewellery

Join us for a relaxed and creative evening of polymer clay jewellery making, where you’ll learn how to craft this colourful, tactile clay into your own wearable designs. 

Polymer clay is a coloured modelling material that is soft and pliable like regular clay when handled but can easily be baked in a regular home oven to be hardened. An easy to use material, this is often a children’s favourite but with a little delicacy and colour work, it can easily create fun jewellery pieces!

Led by artist and teacher Grace Ruddick of Art Cafe Bristol, the workshop will begin with a guided introduction to the material, tools and some simple techniques. We’ll then let the creativity take over, giving you plenty of time to experiment and develop your own ideas.

All materials are provided, including the clay, tools, jewellery components and inspiration, together with drinks.

This is an opportunity to slow down, get creative and become familiar with a material you may not have used before.

No previous experience of clay modelling or craft is necessary but some aspects of jewellery making require a reasonable level of dexterity when handling smaller pieces.
