Description
Curious Mover is hosting the very first Pop Icon Dance Party! Start with a 30min easy and fun Electric Slide dance class, then dance the night away to a set list of banging hits curated by DJ (Tessie) Tracksuite!
The theme is music and movement that has influenced pop culture!
Socialise with the Curious Mover dance community - Learn some cool steps - Dance to an eclectic playlist that moves through soul, disco, 90's R&B, 90's dance music, Brit Pop, all your favourite divas and the hottest new artists!
What to expect....
7:00pm - Doors open
(The bar will open open for those who want to purchase drinks)
8:00pm - Electric Slide dance class
(Think line dancing but with more of a sultry soul, R&B or disco vibe)
8:30pm - Open dance floor with great tunes from DJ Tracksuite!
11:00pm - Venue closes
In bed my midnight. Living the dream ;)
What is Curious Mover?...
Curious Mover is facilitated by Chafia Brooks who is passionate about providing a safe and friendly environment for adults to practice dance and enjoy expressing themselves. She runs regular Pop Icon Dance and Contemporary Dance courses. You can get more of a feel for the classes and the community HERE
