FREE Pop-Up Baby Playgroup with BabyLab Westmead

BabyLab Playgroup: Play and learn with your little one!

Playgroup NSW and MARCS Babylab warmly welcome parents and carers with children aged 0-5 years to ‘BabyLab Playgroup' – a relaxed morning where little ones can play, explore and have fun while parents connect with local families, learn and share parenting experiences.

Join us for open-ended play, singing and sensory activities, plus the chance to chat with BabyLab researchers and ask questions about early learning, language and child development.

This is a free session! Toys and play mats provided.

Age Group:
Suitable babies and children aged 0 to 5 years

Location:
Foyer, Level 4, The MARCS Institute for Brain, Behaviour and Development, Western Sydney University (160 Hawkesbury Road, Westmead, NSW 2145)

Parking: There is 1-hour free parking at the basement but parking spaces is limited. Once parking, press “4” on the digital panel outside the lift to head to Level 4.

Alternatively, you may park at Westmead train station.

Train or Light Rail: Alight at Westmead. Walk towards the glass building with the ‘Western Sydney University’ logo at the top. Enter the building and press “4” on the digital panel outside the lifts to head to Level 4.

About BabyLab:

MARCS BabyLab is a non-profit Western Sydney University Research Centre for studies focusing on language acquisition, cognitive development and learning. Researchers design simple but intentional experiments on speech perception, conceptual change, and guided play to understand more about the way babies and young children learn about the world.
