POP UP CHOIR - with Nerida Cuddy

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

After watching the balloons drifting over Canowindra's morning skies, there's the opportunity to lift your spirits, breathe deeply and make some music in a choir workshop run by Canowindra's own Nerida Cuddy, a singer-songwriter of 30 years, professional musician and music teacher. Science backs up experience to prove that singing in a group is actually good for you, it increases well-being and the sense of connection, and it's good for your breathing, too. Nerida will teach some tips for vocal care and warmups each day, as well as leading the singing of some fun and beautiful songs. Come and make some new friends, learn some new songs (and sing some you know well) and experience some of the cultural life Canowindra has to offer.

We will use the events space at Perennialle Plants (owned by Nerida and husband Chris) - feel free to come half an hour early for a coffee, that's what Nerida will be doing!! We will meet for the choir down the steps behind the cafe area so come in through the emporium (if you have mobility needs, please contact Nerida in advance, we can let you in the back way).

You can pay for individual 90 minute sessions, or get a discount by paying for all three. If you don't like paying online, you can fix it up when you come along.

This activity is intended for adults - there are also some great kids' dance activities run by Ali-kinetic. Any questions, please call Nerida on 0429048603.
