In September, Popchops is gagged to present POPCHOPS X REBECCA BLACK. It’s the queer dance party you know and love with an exclusive live set from an international pop icon.
Ten years since her viral smash ‘Friday’ in 2011 (which… in our opinion was too ahead of its time for certain people), Rebecca Black has re-invented herself as chainsaw-yielding hyper-pop hunny. Fresh off the back of her endorphin-peaking EP ‘Rebecca Black Was Here’, touring the US and UK and DJing Coachella – Black is headed down under to slay us with her euphoric live sets.
On Saturday September 3rd we'll be partying with Rebecca at @rubixwarehouse with support from some of our favourite drag performers: @maxdragqueen, @glossthequeen & @aubreyhaive. It’s a night for queers, kweens, trans icons, beards, bears, enby babes and everyone else in our LGBT+ fam to celebrate poptimism and party ‘til the early hours. DJs Simon + Andy will be spinning your faves from Spice Girls to Slayyyter, Robyn to Rihanna, Blackpink to Beyoncé.
