Popcorn and Pictures at the Library: The Mountain (previously Hunt for the Wilderpeople)

Take a seat and join us for a cuppa, some popcorn, and a free screening of The Mountain at South Perth Library.   

PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately, the scheduled movie Hunt for the Wilderpeople is no longer available to screen. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this change. However, the show will go on with a film by the same producers: The Mountain (2024).

The Mountain is about Sam, a fearless young girl, raised outside of her Māori culture, who is determined to fulfil her mission of connecting with her mountain. She hopes they can heal her from the cancer she battles. Along the way, she meets some misfits and new kids in town and they make their way through the difficult route, learning the true spirit of adventure and the magic of friendship.

 After the film, you're invited to stay for a relaxed cup of tea and a friendly chat.
