• So, What Is Poppin Corks?

  Poppin Corks is Marys Poppin's big gay day out in the Adelaide Hills. We're taking over Sidewood Winery from 1pm to 8pm for drag shows all day long, fabulous DJs, delicious food, wine and cocktails, and Adelaide's queer community (and friends) in one gorgeous vineyard. Think Poppin Out, but make it vino.

• What Music Is Being Played?

  Pop, pop and more pop, darling. Expect diva anthems, dance floor bangers and the kind of lip sync classics our queens live for. If it makes you want to death drop on the lawn, it's on the playlist.

• What Can I Bring To Poppin Corks?

  Your ticket, your ID, your bestie and your best look. We also recommend sunscreen, sunnies, a hat, a fan for dramatic effect (we'll have them for sale), and comfortable shoes (vineyard grass and stilettos are not friends). Also feel free to bring a picnic rug!

• What Can't I Bring?

  Leave these at home, darling: Alcohol. Any liquids. Illicit substances. Food. Dangerous or inappropriate items (weapons, fireworks, etc). Bags over A4 size. Glass. Aerosols. Chairs. Tents. Umbrellas.

  Security reserves the right to search bags and refuse entry. Travel light and let us do the rest. 💅

• I Bought a Return Bus Ticket. What Time Do Buses Leave?

  Buses depart from [pickup location] at 1pm. Please arrive 15 minutes early. The bus waits for no queen.

• I Have a Return Bus Ticket. Can I Skip the First Bus?

  Absolutely, just make your own way up and jump on the return bus at the end of the day. Return buses leave Sidewood at 8pm.

• Do Buses Make Any Stops On The Way There or The Way Back?

  No, buses travel direct. Please ensure you use the bathroom before getting on.

• What Will I be Drinking at Poppin Corks?

  Sidewood's delicious wines, beers, ciders, cocktails, seltzers, spritzes and non-alcoholic options. It's a winery, sweetie, so the rosé will be flowing.

• Are there any food options?

  Yes! There will be delicious food available all day.

• Is Poppin Corks Cashless?

  Yes, Poppin Corks is a fully cashless event. Bring your card or phone.

• Is There Car Parking?

  Limited parking is available on site. Please don't drink and drive. Take the bus, book a driver, or grab a designated legend.

• I've Hired My Own Private Bus. What do I need to know?

  Love that for you! Everyone on your bus should have tickets to the event. There won't be room for your driver to stay in our car park all day.

• Are There Pass-outs?

  No, there are no pass-outs.

• Is Poppin Corks 18+?

  Yes, Poppin Corks is strictly 18+

• Is There a Cloakroom?

  No cloakroom sorry.

• Do You Have Ponchos For Sale?

  Yes, ponchos are available at the bar if the weather turns. Wet look, but make it fashion.

• So, I Can't Find My Ticket...

  Don't panic, gorgeous. Head to humanitix and login or contact their support team.

• What Is The Refunds Policy?

  Tickets are non-refundable, except as required under Australian Consumer Law or if the event is cancelled.

• What Happens If I Can't Go Anymore?

  You can resell your ticket via humanitix or official reseller or give it to a friend. Don't let a good ticket go to waste.

• What Is The Wet Weather Policy?

  Poppin Corks goes ahead rain, hail or shine. There are plenty of undercover areas, and a little rain never stopped a Marys diva. In the case of extreme weather, we'll keep you updated via email and our socials.

• What Is The Dresscode?

  Garden party glam meets vineyard vogue. Sundresses, linen, florals, sequins, big hats, full drag: whatever makes you feel fabulous. Just remember comfy shoes, as you'll be on grass all day.

• Do Ubers Service The Area?

  Ubers do service the area, but availability can be limited, especially at the end of the day. We recommend booking a bus ticket or organising a pickup in advance.
