After a series of 8 fabulous Porch Blues events, your host ZED CHARLES presents PORCH BLUES FESTIVAL – an exciting all-day lineup of live music with top, diverse blues artists, featuring:

HAT FITZ & CARA, FRANK SULTANA BAND, HARVEY BLUES & RACHEL CLARK, SONNY JAMES, ZED CHARLES & DILLION JAMES BAND and Guests!

Held at the Caboolture Historical Village, set amongst the streets of a bygone era, this festival offers an authentic and unique venue experience. Located in the heart of Caboolture – less than an hour's drive from Brisbane or Sunshine Coast.

• TICKETS ARE STRICTLY LIMITED to this boutique event to ensure everyone's maximum enjoyment and comfort.

• FOOD & DRINKS ARE BYO. Complimentary tea/coffee/bikkies and water available. We will provide a $3.50 Sausage Sizzle as a top up!!

• SEATING PROVIDED. NO BYO CHAIRS permitted on The Porch. However, you are welcome to BYO preferred chairs for use ONLY in any of the "street" areas. Still great listening from there.

• ENTRY FROM 1:00PM. Arrive in time to get yourself settled in.

We are thrilled to have these top-class musicians together, -bringing you their best for an afternoon/evening of live blues music!

• SONNY JAMES – 2:00pm to 2:45pm
Sonny is renowned for his commanding performance and expertise in slide guitar. Honouring the blues, he plays a diverse selection of songs from the pioneers of blues, intertwined with his original compositions. So befitting of 'blues on The Porch'.

• HARVEY BLUES & RACHEL CLARK – 3:00pm to 3:45pm
Harvey needs no introduction to blues audiences, well known for his guitar prowess, and a longstanding member of the award-winning Blues Arcadia, Harvey is iconic in the music scene. He will be joined by Rachel Clark, from Melbourne, whose arresting vocals will have you transfixed.

• HAT FITZ & CARA – 4:00pm to 5:00pm
Hat Fitz & Cara’s musical style is a unique combination of folk, roots and gospel blues with old time flavour, reminiscent of a time once forgotten. Featuring Hat Fitz on guitar and Cara on vocals and rhythm, this multi-instrumentalist, multi-talented powerhouse duo will take you on a musical journey of boisterous highs, and bluesy lows, with a show that is guaranteed to energize and invigorate.

• FRANK SULTANA BAND – 5:15pm to 6:15pm
Acclaimed Blues Challenge International award-winner at the IBC in Memphis. Respected and well-travelled bluesman Frank, is a multi-instrumentalist with a powerful stage presence, who brings authentic blues to the stage. The deep mojo of the blues is reflected in his songs, storytelling and commanding vocals.

• ZED CHARLES with DILLION JAMES BAND – 6:30pm to 7:30pm
The brainchild, face and host of the Porch Blues series is renown bluesman Zed Charles. Zed performs with a characteristic style that combines soaring lead, fingerpicking and slide guitar techniques, with expressive vocals and entertaining storytelling. Bringing an energetic, engaging stage presence that oozes charisma, the Zed Charles live experience is not to be missed.

Joining Zed in a special festival band lineup, is keyboard maestro DILLION JAMES, with his party-starting boogie and funky vibe. To complete the lineup, GEOFF "DUCK" DONALDSON, a master of the harmonica, who has "blown the blues" around Australia and internationally, along with blues drummer extraordinaire CASPER HALL from the famous Blues Arcadia.

• "THE ALL-STAR JAM" – 7:45pm till Late
This is a favourite part of blues on The Porch, and a fitting finale to a great day of music. Get to see and hear all of our stars playing the blues together on stage. Absolutely riveting to see their combined talent and interplay which literally makes your soul soar – and the "good feels" stay with you long after the day is finished!

NOTE: Times may vary slightly on the day. Short breaks are scheduled between acts to allow for changeovers.

The onsite Village Cafe is only open until 2:00pm for purchase of light lunch/snacks/drinks (non-alcoholic) - but note, the CAFE CLOSES at 2:00pm sharp! So please BYO all required food and drinks to Porch Blues events.

• Complimentary Tea, Coffee, Bikkies & Water: Self-serve facilities available. $3.50 Sausage Sizzle times – 1:30pm, 4:30pm and 7:30pm – to supplement your BYO Food if needed.

CAR: Easy access from the M1. Less than 1 hour's drive from Brisbane or Sunshine Coast.

Q: Is the event weather dependent?
A: No – Unless there is a severe weather warning, the event will still proceed rain, hail or shine.

Q: Is this event under cover?
A: The main event space is undercover, outside tables have shades – and attendees can enjoy the music from the outdoor open spaces. Please come prepared for weather conditions and pack hats/sunscreen/umbrella in case you may need them.

Q: Are ticket refunds offered?
A: No – All ticket sales are final with no refund policy. You may transfer/gift your tickets to friends or family if you are unable to attend personally.

Q: What time do doors open?
A: Attendees for PORCH BLUES FESTIVAL may arrive at "The Porch" venue from 1:00pm prior to the 2:00pm music start time. Ticket checkpoint at front of the village entry.
