    Event description

Port Hills/Banks Peninsula/Lyttelton electorate has a strong tradition of women leaders - from Elizabeth McCoombs as the first woman in Parliament and Dame Ann Hercus the first Minister for women.

Presently Ruth Dyson is our electorate MP (and has been for 27 years) and Eugenie Sage is Minister of Conservation.  Mia Sutherland is a young local leader who has been active in the Schools Strike4Climate movement.

This breakfast event is to celebrate International Women’s Day and to celebrate the contribution women have made and continue to make.  Meet some other wonderful women, hear from our special guests.  It is a chance to celebrate the work women do to better the lives of everyone.
