Mid-North Coast Training on Porn/Sex Addiction and Betrayal Trauma

This is a great opportunity for therapists, counsellors, pastors, social workers and other helping professionals to set aside time for professional development and learn how to more effectively help people heal from problematic sexual behaviour and betrayal trauma.

Bonny will be teaching around the empirical studies and newer understanding of Problematic Sexual Behaviour (ie: Trauma Induced, medicating, dopamine – a hurting person not a character defect) and Betrayal Trauma (with scientific evidence and pathways to healing). She will also teach the generally accepted mile markers (such as 90 meetings in 90 days, 90 day sex fast, FTD, impact letter, restitution letter), along with strategies for therapeutic separation, empathy, couples-centred recovery vs. the old his-side-of-the-street/her-side-of-the-street recovery. Come prepared to get upskilled and walk away with a better grasp of this growing epidemic.
