Port of Catoosa Career Explorations Field Trip-Tulsa
Event description
EPIC Students & Families,
Calling all Middle School and High School Epic students! Join us for a Career Explorations field trip on Tuesday, March 25th to the Port of Catoosa in Tulsa. Come and learn about the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System, the Port, and the 2000-acre industrial park. Learn about the history of the system and how the formerly landlocked State of Oklahoma developed seaports and how these amazing assets benefit the state and nation.
The Tulsa Port of Catoosa is proud to be a resource for excellent employment opportunities for the state of Oklahoma. The companies located here are looking for skilled, educated candidates seeking a quality job. Nearly 3,000 workers across 70 companies are currently located within the 2,000-acre industrial park at the Tulsa Port of Catoosa. Assemblers, technicians, operators, and controllers are just a few of the many jobs at the Port.
