    The NSW Department of Primary Industries Port Stephens Fisheries Institute has been part of the Port Stephens community for 50 years!  

    On Saturday 26 November, you're invited to celebrate with us.  

    Tour the Institute and get up close to an array of fish, view the impressive breeding facilities and learn all about the aquatic research undertaken by our world-class scientists. 

    Entry is free. 

    Tour bookings are essential, secure your ticket to join in the celebrations at one of the nominated tour times: 

    • 8:30am 
    • 10am 
    • 11:30am 
    • 1pm 
    • 2:30pm 

    PARKING & TRANSPORTATION

    There is no visitor parking on site at the Port Stephens Fisheries Institute. 

    Free bus transportation will be provided to and from Port Stephens Fisheries Institute. Buses will depart from Port Stephens Coaches (15 Port Stephens Drive, Anna Bay) 15 minutes prior to tour times.  

    Please arrive at Port Stephens Coaches 30 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time. 

    Buses will return visitors to Port Stephen Coaches at the completion of their tour, with the final bus departing Port Stephen Fisheries Institute at 4pm.

    Please note, space is limited on the bus transportation to accommodate large prams. It is recommended visitors utilise a small, fold up stroller when visiting Port Stephens Fisheries Institute. Some areas of the tour are inaccessible by large prams. 


    ACCESSIBILITY

    When booking your tickets, please indicate accessibility requirements. Visitors requiring disabled access will be contacted and advised how to access Port Stephens Fisheries Institute. 

    BIOSECURITY IS A SHARED RESPONSIBILITY

    To protect Port Stephen Fisheries Institute, all visitors are required to wear enclosed shoes and to walk through a shallow footbath upon entry.
