Port Townsend Bay Tours During Wooden Boat Festival 2024

Experience the Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival by sea as you cruise around Port Townsend Bay aboard our comfortable catamaran, Admiral Jack! Accompanied by our knowledgeable crew, you’ll have the opportunity to experience the seafaring wildlife that inhabits our coastal waters and indulge in views of the Olympic and Cascade mountains. Tours are roughly 45 minutes in length—a great Festival activity for all ages!

The first two tours each day will be available for online ticket purchase in advance. All other tickets will be available for purchase on-site during Festival at the booth on the Commons near the Northwest Maritime dock starting at 9 AM each day for that day's tours only.

2024 Wooden Boat Festival Tour Information

September 6, 7, and 8, during Wooden Boat Festival 2024 | Tours are roughly 45 minutes in length.

Times*:
  • Friday: 10 am, 11:30 am, 1 pm, 2:30 pm & 4 pm
  • Saturday: 10 am, 11:30 am, 1 pm, 2:30 pm & 4 pm
  • Sunday: 9:30 am, 11 am, 12:30 pm

*All tickets are non-refundable. If we need to cancel a tour due to weather, we will do our best to reschedule ticket holders, otherwise, we will offer refunds.

Pricing:

  • Adults & Seniors (age 13 & up): $10
  • Youth (age 5-12): $5 
  • Child (under age 5): free but need a ticket

*Youth aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Please meet on the First Fed Commons at the head of the Northwest Maritime Dock, 431 Water Street, Port Townsend, WA.

Accessibility:

Passengers with limited mobility or other disabilities are welcome aboard Admiral Jack. All passengers will need to make their way down an elevated wood pier and a sloping ramp, with up to 1:5.5 slope at low tide. Admiral Jack is accessed from a floating dock. There is a large step up from the dock to the boat, across a gap. The entry door is 27.5” wide, with a sill height of 6”. When moving about the boat, the minimum clearance is 24.5". There is ample bench seating on board, with grab bars and other places to stabilize yourself. The crew is available for boarding assistance. We will provide written tour information for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.
