Misty Green Vale :: Portal Salon

Portal invites you to an intimate Salon of exquisite music and art in a mesmerising concert with Misty Green Vale in collaboration with guest artists.

Misty Green Vale is a new musical project by artist Felicity Cripps created lovingly over time on Dja Dja Wurrung Country and in her mother’s birthplace, Switzerland. Joined by musician and composer Louise Terra, the performance explores a lyrical space somewhere between dreaming and waking — atmospheric, hypnotic and lush with harmonies - the songs unfold slowly creating a dreamy, immersive experience for deep listening.

The Salon will also offer a glimpse into a collaboration unfolding between Felicity Cripps and artist + curator Zoe Amor, revealing the first visual and lyrical offerings of the upcoming Misty Green Vale album & Oracle deck ~ A field guide for listening.  Drawn from original and limited edition works, Zoe’s compositions reflect on the mysterious and transformative forces of the world, evoking a matrix for the mythopoetic and the architecture of dreams.

Audiences are invited to linger on in the Portal to experience the prismatic worlds that art has to offer.

This is an intimate event with limited seating. Early booking and arrival is recommended to enjoy an aperitivo in the gallery house + studio.

Portal Gallery House + Studio is the unique creative vision and home of Zoe Amor and Joel Sorensen, visual artists working across mediums, living and working on Djarra Country in Central Victoria.

Open to the public during the Festival of Gardens from 24th – 25th October and Cup weekend 31st Oct – 3rd  Nov and by appointment. For enquiries contact: Zoe Amor m. 0408 310 640
