I invite you to join me for a deeply immersive sensory experience, to balance the mind, body and soul, at Sankalpa Mandir Yoga Studio Portland 3pm Sunday 14th March.
Please book early to avoid disappointment.
Bring your own yoga mat/mattress roll to lie on, blanket, pillow & eye mask as there will not be equipment available to use at the Studio.

About Sound Healing
Sound Healing is an ancient art which has the ability to attune us to higher consciousness through vibrational frequency variance. Our system entrains to higher aligned frequency when intentionally surrounded by it, improving our physical, mental, emotional, psychological & spiritual health.

Why try Sound Meditation?
Sound Meditation is an immersion in beautiful sounds and vibrations, created using a wide range of instruments such as drums, singing bowls, various percussion instruments, chimes, and overtone singing. The vibrations created during these sessions are considered to be healing for the body, mind and soul, leading you to a deeply relaxing, meditative state.
In our culture we are becoming more and more aware of the need to manage stress for both emotional and physical wellbeing.
A recent study found that singing bowl meditations significantly reduce stress, depression, anxiety and fatigue. All of these things are known to negatively impact our health, presenting in different ways, such as disturbed sleep, digestive issues, chronic illnesses, memory loss, to name but a few.
A soundbath experience can provide many benefits to counteract the stresses of everyday life, but ultimately it is an incredibly enjoyable experience, accessible to everyone.
Sound bypasses our rational mind , assisting us to heal at a cellular level.
Some of the benefits of Sound can include: Deep Relaxation, Clarity of Mind, Cellular Regeneration, Balance & Harmony of Body, Mind & Spirit.
What do you do?
Make yourself comfortable, laying down or seated, and allow yourself to receive frequencies of therapeutic Sounds in whichever way is perfect for you.

Through the vibrations & frequencies of Drum, Himalayan/Tibetan Singing Bowls, Voice, Crystal Singing Bowls & Therapeutic Percussion I take you on a journey to your own inner realms.
These ancient, soothing sounds are very effective at reducing stress. Enabling an individual to relax deeply, achieving an altered state of consciousness similar to deep meditation.
PLEASE NOTE:
The British Academy of Sound Therapy advises that Sound Therapy/Sound Baths may not be suitable for certain individuals.
Please contact prior to booking if you are in the first trimester of pregnancy, have epilepsy/seizures, are diagnosed with severe mental health conditions or have metal pin or plate implants in your body so I can best meet your needs.
