Portrait Playtime - Portraying People at Pace

Two and a half hours where the only job is drawing whoever's sitting opposite you. Fast charcoal sketches, a small group, and someone on hand who knows what they're doing.

• You'll get through six or seven faces in two and a half hours (with breaks)

• Get stuck right in - no sitting and listening

• Different exercises, nudges and challenges to hone your skills

• You'll learn the handful of measurements that stop a portrait going wrong

• You'll work from a real person, not a photo

• Guidance from an experienced practitioner

• You'll leave knowing what to practise next

• No judgement from me or anyone else. This is a safe space to develop your skills and confidence

• No one is forced to pose
