Join us on Saturday 6th June for an immersive Oyster Appreciation 101 workshop held at Portside.

This intimate experience runs as 30-minute guided sessions with a maximum of 6 guests per session, ensuring a hands-on and interactive learning environment. Sessions are available at 12:00pm, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, and 3:15pm, priced at $65 per person.

Guests will be guided through an educational journey exploring Australian oyster regions, estuaries, farming and production methods, and the fundamentals of how to properly shuck oysters. The session includes a comparative tasting of natural vs dressed oysters, highlighting differences in flavour, texture, and provenance.

Each guest will enjoy a dozen oysters (4 varieties) accompanied by a curated selection of Portside dressings for tasting and comparison. The experience also includes one glass of wine per guest and an oyster knife to take home.
