Your ticket includes tastings across more than 20 Portuguese wines, including reds, whites, rosés, and sparkling. Wander through different tasting stations at your own pace, discover new favourites, and enjoy great wine in a casual, social atmosphere.

This is not a formal guided tasting; it’s an informal wine night designed for people who love discovering new wines, meeting others, and enjoying a great evening out.

Nibbles will be provided throughout the event, and all wines tasted on the night will be available to purchase with exclusive event-only discounts and special offers for attendees.

Tillman Wine Merchants was born from a love of wine, travel, and discovering places that deserve far more recognition than they receive. After travelling through Portugal and experiencing its incredible wine culture firsthand, we fell in love with the people, the history, and most importantly, the wines.

We believe Portugal produces some of the best wines in the world, yet it remains one of the most underrated wine regions globally. In our eyes, Portuguese wines deserve to stand proudly alongside those of France and Italy as part of the great old-world wine conversation.

Our mission isn’t to replace New Zealand, French, Italian, or other great wines. It’s to complement them by introducing Kiwis to another beautiful and historic wine-producing region that hasn’t yet received the global recognition it deserves.

At Tillman Wine Merchants, we appreciate the unique character that different countries and cultures bring to wine. We simply want to share the beauty, craftsmanship, and stories of Portugal with New Zealand, one bottle at a time.
