For over 15 years, Mànran has been at the heart of the Scottish traditional music scene, earning a reputation as one of the genre’s most exciting and influential bands. Renowned for their bold fusion of traditional and contemporary sounds, the seven-piece effortlessly blend English and Gaelic songs with driving, intricate instrumentals.

Their signature mix of bagpipes, fiddle, accordion, whistle, and flute—layered with guitars, drums, and bass—creates a dynamic, uplifting sound that is both deeply rooted in tradition and refreshingly modern. Their music has taken them to stages in more than 30 countries, building a loyal international following and a reputation for electrifying live performances.

Their most recent album, To the Wind, released in August 2025, received airplay on BBC Radio 2 and has been nominated for Album of the Year at the MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards.

ALICE FAYE

Glasgow’s Alice Faye is a cinematic songwriter blending 70s pop, 60s folk and country with the dramatic sweep of chanson. With a timeless, technicolour voice and confessional lyricism, she creates immersive songs that move from wild-eyed theatre to raw intimacy. Her acclaimed EP Deadbeat earned airplay on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio Scotland, while a standout appearance on Channel 4’s The Piano cemented her as one of Scotland’s most compelling new talents.

A winner of Sound of Young Scotland 2025 and Best Acoustic Act at the Scottish Alternative Music Awards, Alice has sold out headline shows across the UK and Europe, including London’s Omeara and Glasgow’s Art School, and has shared stages with Rufus Wainwright and Nick Lowe. With her debut album Vaude Villain due in 2027, Alice Faye is fast becoming one of the UK’s most captivating musical storytellers.
