Seven Years of Community-Led Impact

Since our inception seven years ago, Positive Lives Tasmania has operated as a 100% volunteer-led and completely unfunded community group. Despite operating without state funding, our peer network has provided confidential support, advocacy, and connection to individuals living with HIV across the state.

HIV does not discriminate, and neither does our work. While many assume HIV only impacts specific groups, our organization proudly supports a diverse cross-section of Tasmanians—including hetrosexual men and women as well as members of our culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities, who often face unique cultural barriers and isolation.
