Renowned film and immersive director Felice Vale is staging her next massive project: a production that marks Australia’s first ever live, full scale exorcism.

Vale is widely recognised for her mastery of large scale, haunting public spectacles. In 2025, she transfixed the city when she raised the spirits of the Old Sydney Burial Ground for a massive, sell out event for Vivid Sydney inside Sydney Town Hall, before going on to headline the infamous Ghost Festival.

Having previously collaborated on high-profile visual projects with international icons like Dove Cameron, Maluma, and Australia's own Amy Shark to name a few, Vale is now turning her cinematic lens toward an experience that completely eclipses the safety of standard performance.

The ritual will be contained within the walls of a notorious, 150-year-old historic church - a venue specifically chosen for its heavy, atmospheric resonance.

The exact nature of what transpires within the consecrated stone remains fiercely guarded by Vale and her production team.

No scripts will be leaked; no plot points will be revealed. What is explicitly confirmed is that this is a relentless, hyper-immersive environment that strips away the comfort of the spectator.

Attendees will find themselves active participants trapped inside the structure while the volatile purging takes place.
