Event description

Join DYA for a Possum Skin Pyrography and Wood Burning workshop with Iluka Sax-Williams.

Limited spaces available and registrations are required. To be eligible to attend these workshops you must be a 15-30 year old Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.

About the Artist

Award winning artist, Iluka Sax-Williams was born in the year 2000 in the city of Naarm (Melbourne), Australia.

Iluka is a multidisciplinary artist with a practice across Indigenous Visual Art, Dance and Design. This has been informed by his strong connections to his Torres Strait Islander and Taungurung culture. He is also engaged in Fashion and Modelling.

Iluka is dedicated to sharing and enhancing awareness of First Nations Art, Culture, Knowledge and History of the surrounding sacred lands.
